"A Walk With Giants" stands as a focal point sculpture for both the artistic decorator and art collector. This majestic tree stands dominantly on its base as it pushes upward. Inspired by my walks in the coastal rain forests of Vancouver Island, "A Walk With Giants" is a reminder of the grandeur of mother earth and the epic scale of her great forests. Starting from the wrapped roots and twisting upwards, her shape is revealed with rounded branches and a gentle dominance.
This copper sculpture measures 68cm tall by 20cm wide. It is intricately handmade through twisting and looping enameled copper wires together to form the trunk, branches and leaves. It is mounted on a handpicked locally sourced piece of Muskoka stone and its roots are secured around it. Certificate of Authenticity included.
