"Northern Bound" emerges as a captivating centerpiece, appealing to both the discerning decorator and passionate art enthusiast. This graceful windswept wire sculpture, poised upon a meticulously cut and polished piece of granite, is inspired by one of my favourite trees I drive past heading towards Algonquin Park from Ottawa. Delicate copper wire, gently woven along the granite’s natural contours, creates a quiet, beautiful contrast. An expression of artistic vision, the sculpture moves with a sense of calm uniqueness. Each subtle twist of wire reveals the pine’s natural spirit as it lifts from its wrapped roots, softly unfolding its story through a graceful, flowing form.
This copper sculpture measures 36cm tall by 18cm wide. It is intricately handmade through twisting and looping enameled copper wires together to form the trunk, branches and leaves. It is mounted on a handpicked locally sourced piece of Muskoka stone and its roots are secured around it. Certificate of Authenticity included.
